trees

 some of my favorite places are sitting under trees...

it's a safe feeling I think, plus the branches are like a frame around the rest of the scenery. The branches I like the most drape like you are in a semi-secret place. :) 

weekend celebrations

we celebrated my granddaughter's not-too-far-now's arrival with a baby shower for her amazing parents.

Then the next day we celebrated my sweet girl Hannah's 15th birthday.

Both parties turned out wonderful because of the help of my girls. I am growing more fond of them ;)

September mornings

oh man am I loving these mornings...i had forgotten just how comforting and beautiful a pasture in fog is to me.

there are MANY tomatoes that still need the warmth of September days to ripen. i am helping some along by putting them on our patio table.

Tessa wanted me to grow her some canteloupe this year (pregnancy cravings) so I gave it a shot and am not disappointed. :)
